This program is an 8-week, progressive plan designed to help you peak for a 5000m time trial. It can be used mid-season for general training purposes, or as a specific build up for a race.

PLEASE NOTE:

Any RACE SERIES program should be used in conjunction with regular training. The five sessions each week should serve as the FOCUS of your training, but not necessarily be the ONLY training you do. Recovery efforts, as well as strength training and GPP conditioning (if part of your normal routine) should remain, to some extent, as part of weekly training.
